| 6 years in and having visited more of the big worldwide
flying sites than my meagre income should have allowed I still find
myself returning to Irwyn and Joans , a warm welcome and the safest
big flying area out there! what a hoot.

| Where else in the world can you fly, swim, ski, walk and wash
up whilst having your toes licked by something big, black and furry
all in the same day and yet, at the same time, feel as if something
is not quite right. Now what might that be? I know. The seemingly
endless supply of house red is disappearing a tad too easily and
spirits have possessed our passports which shall not be returned
until we've re-booked. Looking forward to minding chunky 7th -13th
Nov.

| Having stayed here in the summer I have to say that I was
delighted with the reception and service that I have received. I
found the host and his wife to be warm and friendly. The food far
above what I would like to call 'standard'. Just a great place to
be.

| We are not paragliders, but spent a very pleasant three days
in Annecy at the Maison du Moulin. Irwyn and Joan made us feel very
much at home and our three-year-old daughter fell in love with
Chunky!! (who also managed to keep her entertained for a respectible
preiod of time!) Although we did not do any paragliding, we cycled
into Annecy, walked in the surrounding mountains and swam in the
beautiful lake. Coming home at the end of the day to be surrounded
by English-speaking (except Irwin) people was very reassuring! Many
thanks for making our stay so relaxing and memorable! We will
return!!

| Irwyn and Joan (not their real names, witness relocation
program) are insane as is their dog Chunkey (not real name
either)irwyn has broken his back 3 times and hopes to get into the
Guiness book of records for being lucky. The fly guiding is exellent
and to my knowlege he has never lost a customer,so enjoy your stay
and be prepared to see a unicycling Welshman being chased by a large
stupid dog...oh and another thing let someone know where you are!!!

Maison Du Moulin was great. Irwyn, Joan, Laura and Brendan
were all fantastic hosts and made Leanda and I feel amazingly
welcome.
MDM is a great spot for non flying partners too,
Leanda loved being there too, soaking up the rays, riding a bike and
swimming in the lake.
The flying... 50 KM triangle round the
aravis from annecy (nearly made it), a thermal ridge run back to
annecy (i didn't make it again... Irwyn's knowledge was invaluable
as no one was going anywhere from Annecy itself and we had a really
fun flight, battling our way back towards Annecy with nice friendly
thermals all the way along.
There was a BBQ one night and
raclette was being prepared when i left for the
airport!
Thanks Irwyn, Joan, Laura and Brendan for making
Leanda and I both feel so welcome.
See you in August!
