This paragliding flight around lake Annecy was made by Adrian, a fairly experienced pilot. He was following a guide who got a thermal and completed the tour.

Adrian wanted to fly around the sumit of Semnoz which is why he didn't make a dash for the Roc de Boeuffs when he had the height at point A . Instead he enjoyed a late evening waft as the lift died away.
