This paragliding flight was made with Gareth who also flew with me last year. The cloud base of 3100 M was less than ideal as the lower layers were quite stable. The climb out after crossing to the Aravis made use of local knowledge and we were the only pilots to succeed. Paragliding down the 'Autoroute des Aravis' was done on full speedbar with one wing in the cloud, simply drifting in or out to maintain height. There was no lift on the crossing to Tournette and the Annecy valley as it was dificult to get established for the final climb over the col. Alltogether a fun 3 hours.
